It hurts. My muscles hurt. Been doing way to much physical activity these last few days. I've changed tyres on my car (from winter to summer), my band had marching excercises and I've bought a couple of new shelves for my DVD-collection. I don't usually do much of this physical stuff so now I'm paying the price. Although I finished one of the shelves on tuesday I had to dismantel it again because I had put two of the pieces upsidedown. That made all the shelves to have a nice 30 degree tilt. Totally acceptable for a piece of art, not for a piece of furniture. But I think the livingroom turned out for the better though.
Tomorrow I'm actually going to the town of Bergamo in the north of Italy together with my collegues. This is strictly a pleasure trip. No business involved... Although I did plan on going down to Rome to convince the new pope to take the name Palpatine II instead of Benedict XVI.
Stay tuned for updates on how the trip was, and a new photoalbum dedicated to it.

This wednesday I finally got my last paycheck from my previous employer. Since it also included vacation money earned last year as well as this, there was a substantial amount of money deposited on my account; about $7.500,00. Seeing as I hadn't done some serious DVD and CD shopping in quite a while I went on a small shopping spree where, well, things got a little out of hand. Let's just say that I'm Amazon and Play.com's new best friend. Therefore there's going to be a lot of updates to the DVD and CD collection the next few days/weeks as the packages comes to my mailbox.

After about 6 months of procrastination I've finally performed my server upgrade. That's also the reason my homepage was offline a couple of weeks ago. The new server is a Pentium II 300MHz so it's deffinately faster than the previous Pentium MMX 166MHz. Not everything went smoothly though, as I found out yesterday. I seem to have modified a setting in the PHP configuration file which made none of my homepages work. It took several hours to fix this, but I think all the wrinkles should be ironed out now.
For those interrested in my TV habits, I'm now officially an addict to the show "Lost". I'm also watching Alias, Star Trek: Enterprise, Simpsons and Malcolm in the Middle on a regular basis. I've taken a break in my Star Trek marathon (I've gotten to season two of Deep Space Nine) and have started ploughing through Farscape. It's deffinately a... special... show and also slightly entertaining so I'll keep watching it. Have to see through all the four seasons and the miniseries.
That should be enough for now. Back to the TV for me.
