Synopsis

A father (Viggo Mortensen) and his son walks alone through a burnt America. Nothing is moving in the desolate environment except ashes in the wind. The sky is dark. The cold is biting, almost intolerable, and the snow falling is grey. Their target is the coast, even if they don't know if something, or someone at all, are waiting for them. They're bringing only the clothes of their back, in a shopping cart with some food and equipment, and a gun with two bullets to defend themselves against the gangs ravaging the roads. And then they have eachother.
